This is my example of a music bed. This shows that I can edit out mistakes, and it also shows that I know how to use 'Ducking'.

Video Editing

In my video I editited I used a wide range of music and effects. For example I used background music to add tenstion to the video whereas I used effects like a 'scream' and a 'bang' for certain parts in my video, to make the video more interesting and more exciting. In my video I used both diagetic and non-diagetic sounds in my video. For example the disgetic sounds I used were sound like a door opening and footsteps. These are diagetic because the sound is coming from the actual scene that you shot. Whereas non-diagetic is background music because you add that to the video after you have shot it.

Horror Editing

This is my video I edited. To edit my video I used Premiere Pro. In my video I used different effects and techniques. One of the effects I used was Time code. Time code makes my video look like a CCTV camera. Another effect I used was making my video black and white. I think that by making it balck and white will make it seem more like a CCTV camera, but it was also add tension.

Editing screen shot 3

This is a screen shot of my sequence. This allows you to view your video clip whilst still editing in case you want to change anything. It also allows you to video your whole video clip after you've finished editing.

Editing screen shot 2

This is a screenshot of my timeline on Premiere Pro. My timeline is where all the edited clips I want to use are placed. It gives you an idea of the time limit of your video clip.

Editing screen shot 1

This is a editing screen shot of how I selected certain parts of a clip that I wanted to use on Premiere Pro. I used the in and out buttons to select parts of the clips.
